At the meeting, Minister of Communications and Informatization Konstantin Shulgan outlined the relevance of the topic of digitalization of regions. “It is extremely important to translate the formulated conceptual approaches into the plane of practical implementation - to identify measures, including for implementation within the framework of the State Program“ Digital Development of Belarus ”for 2021-2025, the results of which will have a system-forming character for the development of technologies of“ smart cities ”in all regions of the republic ", - said the head of the Ministry of Communications.
Our company is already conducting pilot projects for the implementation of IoT solutions in various areas of the city utility company. At the moment, the SmartBIN system is being tested, which allows not only to determine the amount of garbage in the container, but also to record the facts of ignition of solid household waste, and also determines the position of the container in space (against theft) and the fact of the container overturning.
In addition, the SmartLight system is being tested: "smart lighting", which determines the mode of operation of the lighting mast according to the specified parameters. For example, automatically turn on when fixing the movement of a car or a pedestrian, turn on and off according to the level of daily illumination.
