A seminar on digital development and implementation of smart cities technologies was held in Bobruisk on June 8 and 9. Semyon Nechaev, Director of NEWLAND Technology, told representatives of the city and district administrations of the Mogilev region about the experience of developing and implementing technological solutions for the smart city by our company.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian State Academy of Communications with the support of the Regional Branch of the International Telecommunication Union. The purpose of the seminar is to raise awareness of the latest digital technologies and popularize their implementation in the regions. Such meetings have been held in Belarus for several years.
The work on digitalization of cities has become a task of national development. The implementation of the "Smart Cities of Belarus" concept provides for the introduction of the "Smart City" platform in 17 localities by 2025, including Minsk, regional centers and 11 regional cities. In terms of automation of urban infrastructure, a number of "smart" projects are being piloted in the country, implemented, among other things, on the basis of equipment and software developed by NEWLAND Technology.
